Returns & Refunds

Every piece that leaves this studio is handmade, wheel-thrown, hand carved, hand glazed, and fired one kiln load at a time. No two are exactly alike. Variations in glaze color, texture and surface details are the nature of the craft. Because of this, Hughes Pottery does not accept returns or offer refunds on completed purchases.

If your order arrives damaged, or if an online purchase doesn't match your expectations, reach out. Every situation is different and we are willing to have that conversation. Contact us at Admin@hughespottery.com within 14 days of receiving your order. We'll work with you to find a solution. 

Custom and commission pieces are final sale with no exceptions. 

If you piece arrives broken, photograph the damage and packaging before doing anything else. Send those photos to Admin@hughespottery.com and we'll take care of the rest.
